Pocket Landline numbers are virtual business number that are connected in the cloud rather than the traditional copper phone line installed at a home or place of work. The Pocket Landline number allows incoming calls to a 01 or 02 number to be answered from the mobile phone in the pocket. In addition, the mobile phone App allows outgoing calls to be made, presenting the 01 or 02 number.
With the Pocket Landline solution you can choose from 1000's of local area landline numbers to answer and present from your mobile phone. The caller will be unaware that the call to your 0203 or 0161 number is answered from a mobile, this means that your Landline call is answered whilst you are on the move.
The chosen virtual number staring 01 or 02 is held in the cloud, when a call is made to the number it onward routes to the mobile phone. When the incoming call arrives to the mobile, it can either display the 01 or 02 number using Dialled Number presentation or play a call whisper "Business Call" to help identify a professional call from a personal call.
Calls made to your business number can be diverted to your target number (landline or mobile number) during your operational business hours. Once you have configured your 'in-hours', choose where you would like to divert calls 'outside of working hours'. If calls are not configured to be diverted outside working hours, then voicemail-to-email is activated; meaning that calls are always captured.
Configure your business opening hours (for example. 9am – 5pm), if calls are made outside of working hours, voicemail to email is activated instantly. This means any voicemail messages are saved as MP3 audio files and automatically sent to you in an email.
You can log online 24/7 to manage your business number and divert calls. So, you can completely relax and enjoy your holiday, knowing that you’re in control with the ability to manage your business number/s from any PC, tablet or smartphone.
Capture incoming business calls on multiple mobiles. This can be completed in your online account under "number management" where you can specify the time of day for forwarding incoming calls and to which number/s you want to forward them to. Then as soon as callers dial your business landline number, it will ring on your mobile. If you cannot answer the call, you can either divert to another number or send the call to voicemail, which is then emailed to you.
