We have had a few customers report an issue with their 08007999 number/s.

It has been advised that when customers are calling the 08007999 number, the call is connecting to BT, and is either answered by someone who will introduce themselves from “BT Direct" or "Operator” or the call is going into the BT queue.  

The network has been notified of the fault, and it is currently being looked into by their engineers. It is also being investigated by Openreach and they have advised the below:

The issue appears to be a specific range 08007999*.  Openreach is looking into a permanent fix.

While Openreach is looking into implementing a permanent fix, our network has confirmed that they will look into individual cases.

Not all customers who have the 08007999 range are affected. However, if you are experiencing an issue, please contact our Support Department at Telecoms World who will raise your concerns with the network.
