Apple iOS 14.2 upgrade affecting Call Forwarding feature on the Horizon iOS mobile application
15:40pm
The latest version of Apple’s iOS software, version 14.2, has changed the way applications manage telephone calls and introduced some unexpected call behaviour to the Horizon iOS client, namely for attended (or “warm”) call transfers and conference calls.
The original caller is cut off when using attended transfer and the same behaviour has been noted when creating a conference call via the iOS client. This behaviour is not present in earlier versions of iOS and the blind transfer feature is unaffected.
The network is actively working with the vendors on getting a fix in place for iOS client users that are running iOS 14.2. As soon as the network have a fix we will issue further communications and an update via the App Store will be available.
As soon as we have further information we will update the service page.
