Kingfisher House Business Centre is a vibrant and modern base with room to host numerous companies and organisations of all sizes. Located in the heart of Bromley, the centre provides excellent transport connections and various facilities for businesses to thrive including office spaces, meeting rooms and virtual offices.

The Challenge

To fully utilise their large office space for businesses large and small, Kingfisher House had to ensure that a solid internet connection was established across the entire building. Having 3 floors with 10 offices on each created an essential need to upgrade their internet connection to achieve superfast connectivity for their customers.

Adapting to the changing times was another key factor in Kingfisher House’s plans to future-proof their business, and thus decided to upgrade their phone systems to further modernise and reduce costs across the board.

Telecoms World Solution

Kingfisher House began discussions with Telecoms World to ensure that all their goals and requirements were fully addressed and understood. The organisations worked together to create a suitable plan with realistic timescales and decided that a dedicated fibre leased line would be the best solution to increase the Business Centre’s internet speeds. Telecoms World also advised Kingfisher House on a feature-rich, cloud-based phone system to be installed to help future-proof their business.

The Results

In the space of just a few months, Telecoms World were able to upgrade Kingfisher House Business Centre’s internet lines to 1GB capacity over a 1GB fibre leased line. Over 100 floor ports were installed across the office and 84 IP addresses have now been migrated.

A new and reliable Wildix Real-Time Communication phone system was installed with 65 users across the whole organisation. Users are now able to login and benefit from an upgraded phone system with secure 2-way communication features including chat, messaging, calls, file sharing, conference call and video.

Kingfisher House Business Centre are now looking at changing their old Wi-Fi solutions for their service lounge and lower ground floor using the Ruckus Wi-Fi solution and Telecoms World.
