Can I choose the number being displayed?
Any 01/02/08 or 03 number can be presented on outbound calls. Regulations are in place to ensure that only numbers that your organisation has purchased can be displayed. Business Number Presentation is not to be confused with Call Spoofing.
What is Call Spoofing?
Call ‘Masking’ or ‘Spoofing’ is used as a way to disguise the real number calling and also allows the user to choose any number they want, as well as change their voice. Therefore, it's more commonly used to place prank calls or occasionally to deceive. The TW Dial Out App is different! It does not allow you to choose the number you want to display; it must be the number you hold with us in your account so that you can efficiently and professionally present your business number from a mobile.
