So Jenna competed in her first White Collar Boxing match on 16th September in aid of Demelza Hospice Care for Children and, so far, has raised a fantastic £500+ from an original target of £200. At Telecoms World HQ we hosted a cake sale on 8th September to help Jenna reach her target whilst enjoying lots of yummy cakes and there’s still donations continuing to come in for her.
The White Collar Boxing event consists of 3 rounds of 2 minutes and will either be won by knockout or points at the end. Jenna put in an admirable effort for her first ever fight and held out against her opponent all the way to the end of the 3 rounds. Unfortunately, she lost out to the title by just a few points but it has not deterred her from giving it another go!
Jenna says; “I had a great evening surrounded and supported by my friends and family and I’ve raised more than I imagined for Demelza Hospice Care for Children. I have signed up to compete again in December and hope this time to take home the winning title!”
There’s still time to help Jenna raise money for this amazing charity who provide vital care to families across East Sussex, Kent and South East London. Sponsor Jenna through her Just Giving page, where donations are greatly appreciated https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/j-noble1
